Multiphysics finite element methods for poroelasticity models

In this talk, I will talk about the multiphysics finite element methods for some poroelasticity models. To reveal the multi-physical processes and to be helpful to propose stable numerical methods, I will introduce the multiphysics approach, which reformulates the original model into a fluid coupled problem. Then, a fully discrete finite element method based on the multiphysics reformulation is proposed to overcome locking phenomenon for displacement and pressure.  The stability analysis of the above proposed method and the optimal convergence order estimate are given, and some numerical examples are shown to verify the theoretical results.

主讲人介绍:

葛志昊,河南大学教授、博士生导师,河南省杰青,校特聘教授,中国数学学会计算数学分会理事,河南省数学会理事,河南省数字图形图像学会理事,河南省专业学位研究生教育指导委员会委员。研究领域为多孔弹性问题有限元方法,主要对多孔弹性问题、Navier-Stokes方程组等问题的高效数值算法进行了系统研究,在IMA J. Numer. Anal.、J. Sci. Comp.、J. Comp. Phys.、CSIAM-AM等计算数学著名期刊已发表学术论文50余篇,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、青年基金1项和国际交流基金1项,主持河南省杰出青年基金1项和河南省自然科学基金面上项目1项。
